The City Airport Train (CAT) takes you from Vienna Airport to the city centre (Wien Mitte) in just 16 minutes.
Alternatively, the S-Bahn (Line S7) also connects the airport with Wien Mitte and takes only a few minutes longer.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for both options.
From Wien Mitte, take the U-Bahn line U3 for approximately 5 minutes to Volkstheater station, located directly opposite the hotel.
The Vienna Airport Lines (V1) bus reaches Volkstheater station in around 35 minutes (exit Bellariastraße). From there, it is only a 3-minute walk to Hotel Sans Souci Vienna.

We would be delighted to organise a private airport transfer for you.
For this, we kindly require the following details: flight number, arrival time in Vienna, name(s) and number of passengers.

Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall holding a Sans Souci Vienna sign.

Transfer rates:

  • Hotel → Airport: € 75
  • Minivan: € 105 per journey

Alternatively, we are happy to arrange an eco-taxi upon request.

Late check-out after 12:00 noon is possible subject to availability.
Please kindly discuss this option with our Front Office team during your stay.

We will be happy to store your luggage securely for you both before check-in and after check-out.

A limited number of parking spaces is available in our private garage.
The parking fee is € 30 per day or € 5 per hour.
Additional parking spaces are located in the underground garage of the MuseumsQuartier.
Upon request, we will be pleased to park your car for you.

Guests using our garage have the option to charge their electric vehicle at our in-house charging station.
The charging fee is € 0.50 per kWh.

All rooms and suites at the art and boutique hotel Hotel Sans Souci Vienna are equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning.

No, smoking is not permitted inside the hotel.
However, our outdoor Laurent-Perrier Lounge offers a designated smoking area.

Our in-house restaurant Veranda Brasserie & Bar delights guests with modern Austrian cuisine.
The restaurant is also open to external guests.

The art and boutique hotel features 71 spacious rooms and suites.

Dogs are not permitted at the hotel.
Exceptions apply to certified assistance dogs, such as guide dogs for the visually impaired.

Hotel Sans Souci Vienna was designed and realised by the London-based design collective YOO. The YOO team includes internationally renowned designer Philippe Starck and property developer John Hitchcox.

Hotel Sans Souci Vienna opened in December 2012.
Prior to that, the building was carefully renovated and restored over a period of two years.
Between 1873 and 1953, the historic Hotel Höller was located on this site.

Our sustainability strategy places a strong focus on our restaurant: around 20 selected manufacturers from Vienna and the surrounding region supply us with regional and seasonal products, most of which are organic certified.

Most visit Vienna to explore the city and its rich cultural offerings, often returning more than once.
Some guests combine their stay with business appointments, creating a balanced mix of leisure and business travellers.

The hotel is owned by Norbert Winkelmayer, a passionate private art collector.
The hotel features numerous Pop Art works throughout the property, around 60 of which are by Roy Lichtenstein.

The water temperature in our swimming pool is 27.5 °C, ideal for swimming.

Our pool measures 20 metres in length and 3.40 metres in width, making it Vienna’s longest hotel pool.

Children aged 4 to 14 years may use the pool between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, under parental supervision.
Toddlers are required to wear swim diapers.
Pool use is at guests’ own risk.
Guests aged 14 and over may use the pool without restriction during opening hours from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Our sauna area is a textile-free zone.
In all other areas of the spa, guests are kindly requested to wear swimwear or a bathrobe.
Towels and bathrobes are provided for our guests in the spa area.

For the sake of relaxation and consideration of other guests, we kindly ask you not to use mobile phones or other electronic devices in the spa area.

Yes, for external guests, we offer attractive Day Spa packages with a duration of two or four hours.
These include access to the saunas (Finnish sauna, sanarium and steam bath), the hotel pool and the fitness area.
Changing rooms with lockers and a safe, bathrobe, slippers, hand and bath towels, as well as exclusive bath amenities, are provided for the duration of your wellness visit.
Pool noodles for the pool and fitness studio are also available.

Hotel guests have access to the spa at any time during opening hours.
External guests are kindly asked to reserve a time slot in advance, ensuring sufficient space and tranquillity for all guests.

Our spa menu includes a wide selection of individually tailored massages, body treatments, peelings, facials and various specialised treatments.
All treatments can be booked online.

We are happy to inform you upon request about the vegan products available in our spa range.

The two closest taxi stands are each approximately a 5-minute walk away:

  • Bellariastraße 2–4, opposite the Natural History Museum Vienna
  • Stiftgasse 21

Upon request, we are happy to order a taxi directly to the hotel for you.

Take the U-Bahn line U3 in the direction of Simmering and reach Stephansplatz in just 3 minutes.
On foot, the walk takes approximately 20 minutes.

Vienna’s most famous shopping streets are all within easy reach.
We particularly recommend Mariahilfer Straße, Kärntner Straße, Graben, and Kohlmarkt.
For unique boutiques and designer stores, visit the 7th district, especially the Spittelberg area around Burggasse, Stiftgasse and Neubaugasse.

Our Modern Austrian cuisine reinterprets classic recipes in a light, contemporary way, while also embracing international influences.
The focus lies on high-quality ingredients, primarily sourced from local producers in Vienna and the surrounding region, many of them organic certified.

The Veranda weekend breakfast is priced at € 55 per person.
Unlimited enjoyment includes all hot and cold specialities from the Veranda buffet, à la carte egg dishes, daily specials, Sans Souci Classics, one glass of champagne, and two hot beverages.

Of course. Our menu includes a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Our champagne tastings at Veranda Brasserie & Bar take place once a month.
Each tasting includes three different champagnes (0.05 l each) and one glass of sparkling wine, accompanied by canapés. You will discover which champagne suits your taste best.

Cocktail workshops with varying themes take place several times per month.
We offer workshops for classic cocktails, aperitif cocktails, and special editions.
