The WOW! The Heidi Horten Collection exhibition is the first public showing of one of the most impressive private collections in Europe.

16th February – 29th JULy 2018

 

A very warm welcome to our new neighbours! The WOW! The Heidi Horten Collection exhibition in the Leopold Museum allows you to get up close and personal with masterpieces by everyone from Gustav Klimt to Andy Warhol to Damien Hirst, and is the first public showing of one of Europe’s most impressive private collections

 

The largest groups of works are drawn from German expressionism and American pop art, with exhibits of works by Marc Chagall, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Paul Klee, Gustav Klimt, August Macke and many more

The art that I have lived with for many years has become a tangible part of art history. I hope this exhibition in the Leopold Museum will enable me to share my experience with other people.
